Incredible Things in High Speed is the first EP release from Chicago IL-based songwriting project of Collin Dall, Prathloons. Following nearly a decade of album releases, songwriter Dall found his new collection of 6 tracks, recorded during the sessions of their upcoming album, needing space of their own. The EPs 30-minute runtime showcases Prathloons most immediate and melodic full-band songwriting yet, refreshing what interplay was introduced on 2022’s full-length The Kansas Wind. Opening track and lead single “Pally”’s twinkling midwest-emo guitars, and the shoegazing hazy guitars on “In Wintertime' ' bring the bands newfound optimism and purposeful volume to the forefront. To complement the bands power on Incredible Things in High Speed, Dall’s lyricism maintains a delicate, emotional resonance listeners come to expect from a Prathloons release. Think of Prathloons’ balance of melodic, band-forward power and heart-on-its-sleeve lyricism in its most efficient form on this release, joining the era of contemporary emo bands like The Goalie's Anxiety at the Penalty Kick and Horse Jumper of Love.

Prathloons will be celebrating their album release show at The Empty Bottle in Chicago IL on April 22, 2024 with Alta Vista and Geferty.
